그것은 최고의 시대이자, 최악의 시대였다. 지혜의 시대였으며, 어리석음의 시대이기도 했다. 믿음과 불신이 교차했으며, 빛과 어둠이 공존하는 시대였다. 희망의 봄인 동시에 절망의 겨울이었다. 무엇이든 가능해 보였지만 정말로 가능한 것은 아무것도 없었다. 우리 모두 천국을 향해 나아갔지만 정작 우리가 향한 곳은 그와는 정 반대 방향이었다.

다시 그런 시절이다.

어느 시대를 살아도 매번 그런 역사의 순간이 존재한다는 것,

그건 시간과 공간을 초월한 삶의 이야기의 한 방식일 것이다.

그것이 순간이고 또 그것이 역사가 되어가는 것이다.
